Golf Experience

Our facilities include our expertly maintained championship golf course, short game practice area, putting green, and warmup range. Beacon Hill has always been regarded as one of the most beautifully maintained courses in the area; our newly re-designed course is one that everyone will want to see and experience. Completed over the winter of 2020-2021, our 3-year golf course renovation project concluded with 5 renovated tees, 8 completely rebuilt greens, 66 state-of-the-art new bunkers, recontoured and widened fairways, and selective tree work - all to enhance playing angles and open up views both on the golf course, and from the Clubhouse.

The course is set high on a hill with breath-taking views of Sandy Hook Bay and Lower Manhattan. The traditional course layout is established on 90 acres with tight, tree-lined fairways and small greens. Most of the greens are individually shaped, they slope from back to front, and in the summertime, they're maintained "fast and firm." 

The challenge at Beacon Hill isn't necessarily it's length, but it's demand for accuracy on all strokes. The greens have subtle breaks that are not always obvious to most golfers, and local knowledge is the key to success and a competitive edge at Beacon Hill.

 

Organizations

For those looking for a little more competition amongst Friends, Beacon Hill offers organizations for both Men and Women. The Men's Hat Group meets every Wednesday and is open to all Beacon Hill Members with golfing privileges. We encourage you to invite Guests for a great experience of camaraderie and friendly rivalry.

Ladies looking for a casual weekly round of golf would find great enjoyment with the 9-holers. The 9-holers meet most Wednesday mornings and host various tournaments throughtout the season. For those looking for a little more competition, there is the 18-holers organization; meeting every Tuesday, these ladies play a full round of golf followed by organized luncheons in the Clubhouse. 

Beacon Hill also offers it's 9 to 5ers organization. Targeted around those that work during the day, the 9 to 5ers have specific weekly clinics at 5:30 PM to improve your game.
